Audrey Alstrom, PE
Director of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Programs

Audrey Alstrom is the director of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Programs.

Before joining the Alaska Energy Authority (AEA), she was a senior director for the Alaska Native Science and Engineering Program (ANSEP) at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA). She is an alumnus of ANSEP as well. She received an Executive Masters in Public Administration from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Washington, Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from UAA, and Associates of Arts from the University of Alaska Fairbanks Kuskokwim Campus.

Alstrom previously worked for AEA as the hydroelectric program manager where she oversaw hydroelectric projects during all phases of development. She also has experience working in the oil and gas and transportation fields. She is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Alstrom resides in Anchorage and enjoys fishing and camping with her family, and they try to make it home to the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta as much as they can throughout the year.
